Description.

Jade carving featuring a bowl with straight sides decorated with an intricate pattern of intertwined scrolls created using incisions and small reliefs. The sides feature small appendages carved in the shape of stylised waves. The stem, which is lighter in colour and slightly translucent, rises from a well-defined ring foot. It shows patina due to age. Warring States period (475–221 BC). or later.
