Description.
Archaic-style jade figure representing a crouching mythological beast with bent legs, curled tail and pointed ears. The piece is carved from yellowish jade with patches of patina varying in colour. The animal's body is decorated with incised scrolls and geometric motifs.
The piece is accompanied by a gemological certificate issued by Hong Kong Kowloon Jade & Jewellery Laboratory LTD in 2011. SC02218.
