Description.
A green jade figure with reddish spots and carved ochre. It depicts a mythological beast with large claws standing on four strong legs. Two small wings are attached to the torso, and the head, crowned by two horns, is raised with its eyes open and its jaws showing its fangs, looking up to the sky. Han Dynasty (206 BC - AD 220) or later.
With losses and wear due to age.
