Description.
An elegant stylus made from jade of a uniform milky hue. The piece has an elongated, conical shape with a finely tapered end, suggesting its use as a decorative or functional accessory, possibly for the hair. The body of the piece has a delicate spiral carving that runs almost all the way around it, giving it dynamism and sophistication. It is topped with a small spherical knob for easy handling. Qing Dynasty (1644-1912) or later.
