Description.
A ritual ornament in the shape of a crest, crafted from yellowish-ochre jade. It has a semi-circular, arched silhouette with three projections at the bottom. The front is engraved with a mythical anthropomorphic mask featuring large spiral eyes intertwined by very fine parallel lines. The reverse is plain. Liangzhu culture (c. 3300–2300 BC) or later.
