Description.
Carved jade sculpture in chalky white ‘鸡骨白’ or ‘chicken bone’ colour with a pale beige mottled patina. It has a cong morphology: tubular and hollow, with a cylindrical or slightly square cross-section, small and divided into two sections. It has a central perforation from end to end. It is decorated with fine incisions in low relief that delimit the horizontal registers and form imposing archaic faces. Liangzhu culture (3300 BC – 2200 BC).
