Description.
Carved in the shape of a ‘Zhulong’, made of green jade, covered with an extensive reddish-ochre patina. The piece is C-shaped, with a coiled body and a snout separated from the tail. The carving of the head is noteworthy, with large circular eyes and a wrinkled snout. It has a hole for hanging. Hongshan culture (approx. 4700–2900 BC) or later.
