White jade carved in the form of a thin square plaque, richly decorated with reliefs and openwork elements. It shows the central image of a ferocious dragon with an elongated, scaled and sinuous body, curled in on itself, and with sturdy legs ending in sharp claws. Its expression is ferocious, with round eyes, thick hair and large jaws. The beast is set against a background of twisted branches ending in scrolls and curling ruyi clouds. It shows age wear.
