Description.
Carved jade of a yellowish ochre hue, translucent with subtle whitish speckles and a profuse patina due to its age. The piece has a curved, flat shape, decorated on both sides with an incised archaic-style mask flanked by four characters. Liangzhu culture (approx. 3300–2300 BC) or later.
