Description.
A beige-toned jade sculpture with a brown patina, carved in high relief, depicting a naturalistic landscape. The composition depicts a tiger reclining under a leafy branch with curved leaves, accompanied by a lingzhi. The leaves are finely detailed with visible veins, while the figure of the tiger shows defined features, emphasising its compact body and serene expression. The reverse exhibits elaborate fretwork that suggests rock formations. Liao style, Jin dynasty (1115-1234) or later.
