Description.
Rectangular jade seal, finely carved from a pale ochre-coloured material with natural darker orange veins. The upper edge is sculpted in the shape of a mythological beast, with the body of a turtle and the face of a dragon, with meticulous details. The smooth base bears four incised characters, ‘天地为师’ , with traces of red sealing wax.
