Description.
Carved jade seal in a celadon hue, covered by extensive areas of black and reddish patina. The piece has a quadrangular base topped by a semicircular handle perforated to allow it to be suspended. The inscription ‘军马中司’ is arranged in bas-relief on the base. Han Dynasty (206 BC – 220 AD) or later.
