Description.
A light-brown jade seal with natural veins, crowned by a carved figure of a turtle in a reposeful pose, a symbol of longevity and stability. The turtle, sculpted in simple but expressive strokes, is shown with its head raised and slightly tilted, round eyes and thick shell with incised hexagonal patterns. The seal matrix with finely carved calligraphic characters "池塘梦晓" can be seen at the base. Qing dynasty (1644-1912) or later.
