Description.
Celadon green jade with a dark brown patina. It depicts a winged creature crouching on a square base. It has a robust body, with its head tilted to one side and meticulous details in relief and incisions. The base is decorated with a geometric fret pattern, and the underside features an inscription incised in seal script. Han Dynasty (206 BC – 220 AD) or later.
