Description.
A pendant made of pale-green jadeite with slightly darker shades. The piece features a delicate relief carving of a female figure, possibly a court lady or a representation of Guanyin, the goddess of compassion. She wears undulating robes that add elegance and movement to the composition. At the top is a hole that was intended for use as a pendant. The surface is finely polished, emphasising the smoothness and translucency characteristic of the stone.
