Description.
A circular pendant carved in jadeite of translucent green tones, depicting a smiling Buddha in a joyful attitude, with raised arms and mantle decorated with auspicious characters. The figure is notable for its youthful expression and smooth lines, framed by the circular contours of the pendant. It has a small hole at the top for use as a pendant. Qing dynasty (1644-1912) or later.
