Description.
Bust carved from white marble depicting the Virgin Mary. In a prayerful pose with her head slightly bowed, she displays an expression of deep devotion, draped in a cloak with dynamic folds. The sculpture, featuring a classical design with Baroque influences and devotional iconography, is distinguished by the smooth polish of the face, which complements the textures of the sculpted surface. The piece is mounted on a molded rectangular base carved from the same block of marble. No signature or visible maker's mark.
