Description.
An oval medallion with a thick, smooth profile, decorated on both sides with the central image of a traditional dragon with a stylised, sinuous body that coils around itself. The mythical beast is set against a background decorated with geometric patterns of lozenges and lines, executed by incision. It shows patina from ageing. Qing Dynasty (1644-1912) or later.
