Description.
Dzi-type bead (གཟི།), carved from mint green stone. The piece features a decoration of ‘eyes’, bordered by sinuous bands that run across the entire globular body, which is convex in the centre. With a longitudinal perforation and patina due to ageing. Ming dynasty (1368–1644).
