Sculpture in carved nephrite jade of white-cream tone, with areas of beige patina that show its age. The piece represents a child figure riding a horse in a dynamic position on a curved base, which evokes the shape of a seesaw. The horse shows a robust and compact body. Its neck is short and muscular, and the head, of large size, is oriented towards the front, with raised ears, almond-shaped eyes, and a half-open mouth with a peaceful expression. The figure of the child has a robust body, with short, rounded limbs. Both legs are arched, embracing the body of the horse, while the arms extend forward, holding the animal's neck. The base of the piece is carved as a semicircular structure with raised edges to hold the whole in balance, evoking a rocking or rocking chair. Eastern Han Dynasty (25-220 AD) or later.
