Description.

White jade with reddish and ochre areas covering much of the surface. This ‘shell’ or natural oxidation patina has been preserved in its entirety. The piece has an irregular rock shape with rounded, smoothed edges, highlighting the organic appearance of the mineral. It comes with a custom-made base and box lined with traditional fabrics. Qing dynasty (1644–1911).
