Description.
A porcelain pot with a cylindrical body with a slightly embossed moulded mouth and three small feet supporting it.
On the characteristic bright white background a continuous landscape with mountains, rivers and stylized trees is painted in great detail in cobalt blue enamel, featuring various characters and even a small fishing village with traditional pagodas. The sky is presided over by the moon accompanied by flying geese.
It is in very good condition, with attrition. Qing Dynasty (1644 and 1912)
Provenance: European private collection, France. Acquired by the present owner in 1981 in Toulouse from the private collection of Mr. Gerard Pasquier. A period photograph is shown.
