Ceremonial cloak with double-headed eagle, 20th century

Deep blue velvet, white brocade silk, mink fur and gold thread. An imposing ceremonial cloak with a large format and long train, whose design is reminiscent of the clothing worn by the high nobility or royal orders. It features a large double-headed eagle crowned and embroidered with a central shield and golden fleurs-de-lis. The bottom hem is finished with an elaborate braided border in gold thread.
