Chinese painting ‘Bamboo and Butterflies’, signed Yu Sheng

Painting executed in ink and pigments on silk, mounted on a brocade silk frame. The composition features an ascending bamboo stem framing the scene, accompanied by red flowers and several butterflies fluttering around them. On the right-hand side is the inscription ‘壬子秋九月下旬唯亭余省画’, alongside two red seals “余” and ‘省’. Yu Sheng (18th century).
