Description.
Painting executed in ink and pigments on silk, mounted on brocade silk in shades of red and cream. It depicts Bodhidharma standing on the waves of the sea, wearing a blue tunic and with a solemn expression. On the upper left side is the inscription ‘“康熙三年秋七月广陵禹之鼎敬绘”', followed by two red seals: ‘“慎斋禹之鼎印”', and ‘“广陵涛上渔人”'. Yu Zhiding (1647–1709).
