Chinese painting "Bogu Hua", Qing dynasty

Ink and pigment on paper, traditionally known as "博古图". On an ochre background, decorated with various plant motifs such as ruyi, cherry and peony branches, among others, there are a total of eight cartouches, two in the centre and three on each side, in a variety of shapes. Inside each of these cartouches is a different still life, made up of traditional Chinese elements such as vases, incense burners, books, jades, teapots and pendants, among others. Qing Dynasty (1644–1912).
