Description.
Ink and pigments on silk, mounted on a hanging scroll, depicting a refined courtly scene in a garden. The composition focuses on a group of female figures, dressed in traditional robes, arranged in a circular cloak. The scene takes place at the foot of an ornate rock formation, framed by willows with long, drooping branches and plum trees in bloom. The central figure, probably a high-ranking lady, wears a red robe and stands under the attention of her companions. In the left margin is an inscription reading "乾隆六年长至月臣孙祜丁云鹏合笔恭画" alongside a seal "恭绘". Sunhu (孙祜) and Ding Yunpeng (丁云鹏) were artists who worked during the reign of the Qianlong Emperor. Qing Dynasty (1644–1912) or later.
