Chinese painting ‘Deer under the pine tree’, signed Shen Quan

Ink and pigments on silk, mounted on a brocade silk frame. Depicts a white-coated deer looking up at a group of red bats fluttering among the branches of a pine tree. At its feet, lingzhi mushrooms complete the scene. It bears the inscription “南蘋沈铨” alongside two red seals: “南蘋” and “沈铨之印”. Shen Quan (1682–1760).
