Description.
Painting executed in ink and pigments on silk, mounted on a brocade silk frame. It depicts the bodhisattva Guanyin, seated serenely on a white celestial lion, accompanied by a child assistant in the foreground. The scene is set against a landscape of mountains and bamboo, with stylized clouds in the background. On the left side is the inscription ‘五云金礼瀛敬绘’, next to the red seal ‘金礼瀛印’. Jin Liying (active in the 19th century).
