Chinese painting “Herons and peonies by the pond,” signed by Miao Jiahui

Ink and pigments on silk. Depicts two herons on the banks of a pond, among water lilies and peonies in bloom. In the upper left corner there is an inscription: “壬寅夏五月中涴滇南女士,” followed by the signature “缪嘉蕙” and two red seals: (缪素) and (嘉蕙). Miao Jiahui (1842-1918).
