Chinese painting "Ladies in the Garden", Qing Dynasty

A vertical painting on silk depicting a courtly scene with three elegantly dressed women in a flower garden. The female figures, dressed in brightly coloured robes and ornate hairstyles, are arranged in front of a large blue rock surrounded by peonies in full bloom. In the background, a white magnolia tree blossoms with detailed and delicate branches, lending depth and serenity to the scene. On the left, a small white dog with brown markings accompanies the ladies, adding an intimate, everyday touch. No inscriptions or seals are visible. Qing Dynasty (1644–1912) or later.
