Chinese painting ‘Landscape with horsemen’, signed Wen Boren

Pigments and ink on silk, mounted on brocade silk. The scene depicts a mountainous landscape with abundant vegetation. In the foreground, a group of horsemen cross a small bridge, while traditional architecture can be seen in the middle ground. In the upper right corner is the inscription 嘉靖甲寅四月下旬作五峰山人文伯仁, next to two red seals: 文伯仁 and 五峰. At the bottom is a collector's seal: 张伯驹珍藏印. Wen Boren (1502–1575).
