Description.
Painting in ink and coloured pigments on paper, mounted on a brocade silk frame in shades of ochre and gold. The composition shows a group of sparrows perched and flying on branches. It bears an inscription in the upper left corner, ‘三十三年夏日居重庆’, and two red seals: “徐” and ‘东海王孙’. Xu Beihong (1895-1953) or later.
