Chinese painting ‘Village Among Mountains’, signed Li Shida

Painting executed in ink and mineral pigments on silk, mounted on a brocade silk frame. It depicts a mountainous landscape with rock formations, among which architecture and lush vegetation can be glimpsed. It bears an inscription in the upper left corner, ‘戌午秋月写于石湖李士达’ , accompanied by two red seals, ‘李士达印’ and “通甫”. In the lower right corner there is also a collector's seal, ‘岭南潘氏宝琴斋珍藏书画印’.
