Description.
Creamy white jade seal with an extensive layer of amber and reddish-brown patina on top. It has a flat, circular base crowned by a bas-relief medallion depicting a large dragon with a robust, scaly, coiled body surrounded by a background of scrolls. The base bears the engraved seal “乾隆御览之宝”. Qing dynasty (1644-1912).
