Description.

A vase with broad shoulders, a narrower base with a circular profile, a short neck and a pointed lid. It is decorated in cloisonné enamel with a blue background and lotus scrolls between Buddhist-themed cartouches depicting lions, a dragon and a Qilin. On the neck and near the base is a band of leaves. With Ming mark on the base '景泰年制' (Jǐngtài nián zhì) in enamel inset in a square and surrounded by flowers, leaves and a symbol. With patina and wear.
