Description.
Philatelic album commemorating the attempt by then-President Yuan Shikai to restore the Chinese monarchy and crown himself Emperor Hongxian in late 1915. Consisting of a total of 74 stamps, some of them with the overprint ‘SPECIMEN’. The cover shows the sun on a blue background above the title ‘中華帝國紀念郵票’.
