Description.

Porcelain vessel with a globular body tapering towards the base and a short, straight neck. The monochrome yellow glaze evenly covers the entire surface, including the base. On either side of the neck, flanking it, are dog heads in relief, with erect ears, rounded snouts and half-open jaws, integrated as decorative and symbolic elements, possibly associated with the protective figure of the fu dog. The base is decorated with a six-character underglaze, ‘大清宣統年製’. Qing dynasty (1644-1912) or later.
