Doucai porcelain vessel ‘Landscape’, with Chenghua mark

Porcelain (guan) vessel with doucai decoration in white, polychrome enamels, and underglaze cobalt blue details. It has a barrel shape with a wide, straight mouth, resting on a small foot. It is decorated with a continuous landscape motif featuring rocks, flowers and stems, exotic plants, and details of vegetation at the bottom. The base bears an underglaze stamp in blue reading “大明成化年制”.
