Description.
An elongated, spindle-shaped amulet carved from dark-backed agate and ivory strands. It features a geometric design comprising nine circular ‘eyes’ framed by interconnected rectangular bands, showing patina and natural signs of ageing. Liao Dynasty (916–1125) or later.
