Description.
Tapestry embroidered on a black background with gold and colourful threads depicting a royal court scene with Thai influence, featuring figures riding in a horse-drawn chariot, surrounded by kneeling figures, musicians, and attendants, all framed by a border with mythological animals and floral motifs. The piece is finished with a double frame of carved and gilded wood.
