Description.
Oil on panel. A minimalist landscape of great serenity, rendered in horizontal bands. The composition is constructed through a distinctly geometric and horizontal arrangement that divides the plane into three clearly differentiated strips. The sky occupies more than three-quarters of the canvas. It depicts a sky covered with cotton-like clouds unfolding in shades of gray, white, and pale violet. The sea is represented by a thin, clean line of flat sky-blue. The sand is a sloping surface of very light ochre or ivory. Signed “EMILIO PRIETO” in the lower right corner. Titled, signed, and dated on the reverse.
