Emmanuel Mané-Katz (Kremenchuk, 1894 - Haifa, 1962) was an expressionist painter, of Russian origin and Jewish descent, who belonged to the so-called School of Paris. In recent years, his palette has become brighter, with primary colours, and the subject more focused on Jewish themes. In Paris he was in contact with important artists such as Pablo Picasso.
