Enameled vase, famille rose, Canton, 19th century

Porcelain vase with a form attached to a tall circular base with a slender profile that holds a stylized neck. It is filled with cartouches with palace scenes, depicting women and high officials, surrounded by an unmistakable background of pink flowers and butterflies among scrolls of leaves on a golden bed. In some cartouches there are traditional paintings of birds on branches and flowers. On each side there is a mask as a handle. It is placed on a circular wooden base. It presents a restoration and wear.
