Description.
Porcelain jar glazed in famille noire enamel, decorated with various superimposed registers of courtly figures in a garden on the upper part of the body, followed by floral motifs, including phoenixes facing each other among peonies, cranes among lotuses, and rockeries, as well as a lower band of scattered flowers. The black background glaze highlights the vivid colours of the other decorative elements. The lid is topped with a green and red enamelled Fu lion on a floral background. It bears an apocryphal trademark seal on the base. It comes with a wooden stand.
