A porcelain plate decorated with black enamel on which a green (lu duan) design is applied using the reserve technique. At the centre of the composition is a Dharma wheel or dharmachakra, flanked by undulating ribbons and surrounded by the eight auspicious Buddhist emblems, including the parasol, the conch shell, the goldfish, the infinity knot, the treasure urn, the lotus flower, the banner of victory, and the wheel itself. These symbols, traditionally linked to Tibetan Buddhism, represent virtues and blessings. The flange of the dish has a decorative band with radial fan-shaped motifs and schematic flowers, and the rim is decorated with a fretwork pattern. The reverse is also decorated with the same geometric pattern in green on black enamel. On the base is a six-character seal in underglaze blue ‘大清乾隆年製’.
