Description.
The porcelain is modelled and covered with beautiful blue and white underglaze glaze. It has a circular base on which rises a globular body, widest at the shoulders, which narrows and ends in a short, thin neck. The exterior is decorated with two lobed medallions framing the image of a fierce traditional dragon, with a scaled body and sharp fangs, chasing a small flaming pearl. The scene is set against a background of irregular lines with small white flowers. On the base is a six-character seal ‘大清康熙年制’ inscribed in a double blue circle.
Height: 11 cm; Diameter of mouth: 3.8 cm
