‘Escudo’ porcelain bowl, early 20th century

Polychrome porcelain, square in shape with bevelled corners and slightly flared edges. The interior is decorated with a European-style heraldic shield topped by a stag. The rim features a wide turquoise band with a dotted pattern, bordered by gold geometric friezes. The outer sides are decorated with small floral branches. The base bears a four-character stamp in red (永勝堂製).
