Description.
Ovoid stoneware jug with four loop handles on the shoulder. The piece is decorated using the sgraffito technique: a dark glaze was applied over a light slip, through which the decoration was carved. The main motif is a wide border with large peony flower scrolls. The flat base is unglazed.
