Description.
Watercolor on paper. A marshland with flooded rice fields and rural buildings. The work features a very fresh and naturalistic color palette dominated by shades of green (ranging from olive to emerald), earthy ochres, and a delicate range of grays and pale blues that blend the water with the cloudy sky. The subtle reddish touches on the rooftops break the chromatic monotony and balance the composition. Signed “Perez Cervera” in the lower right corner.
